How Minsk's oldest bathhouses are linked to Yanka Kupala
At the site of today's Yanka Kupala Park in Minsk, residential buildings and the famous Pлавskіе baths — one of the city's oldest — once stood. Historical records indicate that Yanka Kupala himself visited these baths, as his home was located nearby. After the war, the destroyed buildings were cleared, and the park was laid out in 1949. It was named after Yanka Kupala in 1962.
