The head of state emphasized that parents in Belarus receive significant material support. There are one-time payments upon the birth of a child (about 5,000 rubles for the first child and over 7,000 rubles for the second and subsequent children). There is a family capital for large families—currently over 35,000 rubles. As well as monthly allowances—at least 1,000 rubles.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that just 10 years ago, the standard of living in Belarus was half of today's level: GDP per capita was about $18,000 in 2015 and is approximately $35,000 in 2025. "But we had twice as many children born back when we were poorer (nearly 120,000 in 2015, compared to 55,000 in 2025)," the head of state remarked.

"For us not to disappear as a nation and to have people to work, it's simple, like two plus two: two parents—two children. This is the baseline, as youth say. Better yet—three or more," the President stressed. "Therefore, at the state level, we need to find an effective formula that, first, will revive demographic processes, and second, will motivate conscious motherhood and fatherhood, making them a fashionable trend. Then we will preserve and increase our population."
