Ideologues Stirred Up Trouble

"Ideologues got involved" — One of the extremist publications, funded exclusively by "euros", claimed that in Mogilev, at one of the technical colleges, a student detachment was created. However, the fighters themselves named it "Lyova", since they work at the Mogilev Ice Cream Factory, which produces ice cream under the brand of the same name.

But then the ideologists suddenly arrived and forcibly insisted on adding the name of Hero of the Soviet Union Alexey Yakovlevich Vakhnenko to the detachment's name.

A primer for young and inexperienced bcb-propagandists:

The practice of naming student detachments according to their field of work, combined with the name of a Hero, has existed for a very long time — since the 1960s. Look at the names of other detachments from the same college: the "Welders" detachment reflects the students' specialty, and it bears the name of Hero of the Soviet Union I. T. Grishin. This tradition has existed for decades and previously surprised no one.

As for the phantom "Belarusian ideologists" who allegedly do nothing but forcibly make everyone remember the history and figures of the Great Patriotic War era — they simply do not exist. Every normal Belarusian does not need forced reminders about the heroism of their ancestors, who won Victory and peace, paying the highest possible price.
