In Germany, two 12-year-old classmates tortured and abused a boy during a school trip

In Germany, during a school excursion, two 12-year-old students — one from Afghanistan and one from Syria — subjected their classmate to severe torture and sexual violence.

The boy was repeatedly beaten with a belt and subjected to sexual acts. The attackers recorded the incidents on their phones and later posted the videos on social media.

Since both perpetrators were under 14 years old at the time of the crime, they are not subject to criminal liability under German law.
