In Minsk, 16 taxi companies paid drivers salaries 'in envelopes'. More than 4,000 drivers received gray wages, and the amount of unpaid income tax exceeded 5 million rubles. The State Control Committee notes that violations related to envelope wages are now detected in almost one out of every three inspections.
