According to preliminary information, the 60-year-old man stopped the MAZ bus due to a malfunction and attempted to fix it himself. At the time, the engine and transmission remained engaged, and the parking brake was not applied.

The bus began moving spontaneously and ran over the driver. The man died at the scene from his injuries.
