In Narovlya, investigators probe fire that killed three people

In Narovlya, investigators are establishing the circumstances of the deaths of three people in a fire. According to preliminary information, at 3:22 a.m. today, an alert was received about a fire in a private house on Sotsialisticheskaya Street. The house was occupied by a married couple of pensioners and four minors.

Before rescuers arrived, witnesses managed to help the eldest child and the grandfather escape the house.

The 73-year-old woman died at the scene from injuries sustained in the fire, while her 5-year-old great-granddaughter and 10-year-old great-grandson died on the way to the hospital. A 7-year-old boy was hospitalized in serious condition and transferred to intensive care.
