In Smolevichi, city center flooded due to clogged sewage from wipes

In Smolevichi, utility workers are spending a second day clearing a sewage blockage. They manually removed about 10 buckets of trash and over 200 kg of compacted wet wipes from a manhole. Nearly half a kilometer of the sewage network is blocked.

If the blockage cannot be cleared, the central square will have to be excavated. The work could take at least a month.
