India arrests man who evaded hotel payments for 36 years

Indian law enforcement has arrested a fraudster who allegedly avoided paying for stays at five-star hotels for over 36 years, police reported. The 69-year-old man, Bingson John, registered at hotels using fake documents, posing as an English teacher, tour guide, yoga instructor, or event organizer to appear as a wealthy guest. Investigators found he has been carrying out such scams since 1990. Criminal cases against him have now been filed in more than 10 Indian states.
