Indian Researchers Develop Platinum-Free Material for Zinc-Air Batteries
Indian researchers have developed a porous material called TTT-DHTD that can replace platinum in zinc-air batteries. The material consists of readily available elements: carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Its porous structure resembles honeycombs and helps efficiently convert oxygen into electricity.
