Insurers' losses from US and Israel war against Iran could reach $1.9 billion

The head of the UK's Lloyd's of London, Patrick Tiernan, estimated in a conversation with the FT that insurers' losses from a war between the US and Israel against Iran could reach $1.9 billion.

For comparison, Lloyd's losses from the conflict in Ukraine since 2022 have amounted to only a quarter of this amount.
