Investigators probing child's fall from 4th-floor window in Brest

Investigators are clarifying the circumstances of an incident involving a child in Brest. Yesterday, a girl fell from a fourth-floor apartment window. According to preliminary information, the 2-year-old child was at home with her mother. The child was left alone in a room with an open window while the woman went to the kitchen. Upon returning, the mother looked out the window and saw her daughter lying on the ground. Medical personnel hospitalized the girl, and she is receiving medical care. A detective team worked at the scene. According to investigators, the child climbed onto the windowsill using a bed and a table located near the window. The Ministry of Education commented on the incident.
