Iranian agency Mehr publishes draft US-Iran memorandum to end conflict

Iranian agency Mehr has published the provisions of a draft memorandum with the US on ending the conflict. Among the agreed provisions are the lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days and the withdrawal of American forces from areas bordering the Islamic Republic. Immediate and permanent cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon. The US and its allies must propose a reconstruction plan for Iran with funding of at least $300 billion. The US commits not to interfere in Iran's internal affairs. The Strait of Hormuz will open within 30 days, meeting Iran's requirements. Iranian oil sales will be removed from sanctions. Within 60 days, the parties will hold negotiations to reach a final agreement on the nuclear issue. The US must unfreeze $24 billion in Iranian assets, half of which upon the start of nuclear talks. Iran's missile program and Tehran's support for its regional allies are not part of the potential agreement.
