Iranian Revolutionary Guard repels alleged US attack on Sirik Island, vows response

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced that its naval and air forces successfully repelled a US attack on Sirik Island, forcing the attacking forces to retreat in defense of Iran's territorial sovereignty. The IRGC promised that the attack would "not go unanswered" and warned that any further "recklessness" would be met with a "swift and decisive" response at a time and place of Iran's choosing.
