Japan expects temperatures of 40°C or higher for fifth consecutive day

In Japan, for the first time in history, temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius and above are expected for the fifth consecutive day. The epicenter of the abnormal heat remains the western and central regions of the country, where temperatures have been around 30 degrees Celsius since early morning.
