Japan to raise single-entry visa fee fivefold to 15,000 yen

Japan has decided to increase the cost of a single-entry visa for foreign nationals fivefold, from 3,000 yen to 15,000 yen. The new fees will take effect in July and mark the first increase since 1978, driven by inflation.
