JD Vance calls on Ukraine to stop attacks on tankers

According to the FT, the US Vice President called for halting attacks on ships entering Russian ports.

Ukraine has agreed to stop drone strikes in the Black Sea on non-Russian tankers and infrastructure of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal near Novorossiysk.

Earlier, such attacks disrupted exports of Kazakh oil and caused a 14% drop in oil production in Kazakhstan. Vance emphasized that this destabilizes oil markets and harms American companies.
