Karelichy celebrates regional 'Dazhynki' harvest festival

The urban settlement of Korelichi is celebrating the regional 'Dazhynki' harvest festival.

The main outcome of the agricultural year for the Grodno Region was its significant contribution to the nation's overall harvest.

In his greeting, the head of state emphasized that the selfless work of Grodno's farmers is not just statistical figures, but a guarantee of the country's food security.

This year, the region's total grain harvest amounted to 2 million 350 thousand tons. Farmers achieved a record-breaking yield of 50 centners per hectare — the best result in the republic.

Thus, Grodno's farmers once again proved they can grow and harvest crops regardless of weather surprises.
