Laos officially becomes SCO dialogue partner

The ceremony of signing the Memorandum between the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Lao People's Democratic Republic took place at the organization's headquarters in Beijing.

Laos was granted dialogue partner status by the SCO Council of Heads of State at the meeting in Tianjin on September 1, 2025.
