Large protest held in Tokyo against Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's policies
On Friday evening, a large number of Japanese citizens gathered in front of the National Diet building in Tokyo to protest against a series of dangerous political measures and bills recently proposed by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's government. According to organizers, around 27,000 people participated in person, while approximately 110,000 joined online. Protesters formed columns stretching several kilometers along the sidewalks around the parliament building, chanting slogans such as "Stop Takaichi's reckless actions" and "Japan must forever renounce the use of force."
