Large retail chains may be required to serve villages

The government plans to extend nationwide an experiment involving "Evrotorg", "Tabak-Invest", and "Dobronom". The president stated: "Want profits in cities — take responsibility for villages." The decision is linked to problems in rural trade, including complaints about product assortment and quality in village stores.
