Latvia's Alleged Border Incident with Belarus Was a Hybrid Provocation, Says Minsk

‼️An alleged incident occurred at the Belarus-Latvia border, which Latvia called a hybrid provocation.

In reality, this is nothing more than another fake from our Western neighbours.

According to the Latvian version, a group of 20 illegal migrants attempted to cross the border from Belarus. They were allegedly accompanied by armed masked individuals who threatened Latvian military personnel and pushed migrants toward the border. Later, these individuals supposedly infiltrated Latvian territory, damaged an electrical panel, stole two surveillance cameras, and returned to Belarus. But these are all claims without evidence!

☝️This is not a border incident, but an information operation. Its goal is not to report a fact, but to create an image of an enemy, justify EU funding for border reinforcement and NATO military presence, discredit Belarus, and provoke escalation.
