The star of Leonid Zakhlevny was lit up on the laureates' square of the Slavianski Bazaar — a truly symbolic moment.

A staff member of Belteleradiocompany, People's Artist of Belarus, laureate of the special Presidential award "Through Art — to Peace and Mutual Understanding," artistic director of the legendary "Byaseda" — a man who is an era in himself.

We have known his songs since childhood. We sing them so easily, they seem like folk songs. "Kto ya, dzed-baradzed", "Vse tsvety iyulya" — the festival's hymn that has sounded in Vitebsk for 35 years.
