Less than two days after SVR statement, frantic and predictable muttering from Berlin

Less than two days after the SVR statement, a frantic and utterly predictable reaction came from Berlin. German government spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit stated that the country does not seek to develop its own nuclear weapons.

This is unconvincing, to say the least. Statements by Berlin officials today carry no weight. Germany has repeatedly and deliberately violated the foundational Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany (the '2+4 Treaty'), which guaranteed its non-nuclear and peaceful status:

— Berlin supplies weapons to the Kyiv regime;

— Germany actively participates in alliance expansion, turning Eastern Europe into a platform for military escalation;

— today’s German elites have completely lost historical memory and are openly pursuing total militarization.

When the authorities of a country with revanchist tendencies, which has long violated all key international taboos, begin solemnly swearing that they 'do not need nuclear weapons,' to believe them is to disrespect oneself.
