Lukashenko and Min Aung Hlaing hold sixth round of talks

Today marks the sixth round of talks between Alexander Lukashenko and Min Aung Hlaing. In November 2014, Min Aung Hlaing visited Belarus as Commander-in-Chief of Myanmar's Armed Forces.

Lukashenko: "Our dialogue is future-oriented, and we must go this way, no matter what it takes."

March 2025: Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Minsk as Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of Myanmar.

Lukashenko: "The locomotive of our cooperation must be specific economic projects in the most promising areas."

June 2025: Min Aung Hlaing came to Minsk to attend the EAEU summit. The leader of Myanmar also held talks with the Belarusian leader at that time.

November 2025: Alexander Lukashenko made his first official visit to Myanmar.

As a result of the talks, a roadmap for cooperation for 2026–2028 was signed.

Lukashenko: "We are ready not only to sell our products to Myanmar—we are ready to create joint enterprises with you in the areas of interest to you. And to train specialists for the technologies we will transfer."

July 2026: The Belarusian leader visited Myanmar again. During talks in Naypyidaw, Lukashenko called for accelerating the development of bilateral relations.
