Lukashenko: Belarus and Uzbekistan actively aligning mutual interests

"I already welcomed you yesterday in a home setting. Let me repeat once again, officially: I am glad to see you here, we exchanged views on this visit during our international meetings. I told you then that we were really looking forward to your visit — as a friend of the Belarusian people. And we are ready to do everything to ensure the visit goes successfully," emphasized the Belarusian leader at narrow-format talks with the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. "Regarding our views, I want to say that we adhere to the same policies as Uzbekistan on key issues. We stand for multipolarity. We do not want to interfere with anyone. We look after our people, Uzbekistan looks after its people. But at the same time, we are actively working to link our mutual interests."
