Lukashenko briefed on weekly agenda: harvest, investments, staffing

President Lukashenko has been briefed on the weekly work plan, including the harvest campaign, investment projects with foreign partners, and personnel matters. Regional visits have been reviewed, and further work in the regions has been planned.

Next week, the Head of State will hold a video conference on the harvest. The issue is urgent due to the high yield still in the fields. Timely harvesting and preservation are required. Alexander Lukashenko emphasized the need for coordinated operation of grain-drying facilities and instructed to maintain the pace of feed procurement.

A separate issue raised was full fuel supply. Despite no systemic shortages, cases of theft have been identified. The President stressed their inadmissibility against the backdrop of regional and global resource shortages.

A meeting on foreign investment projects is planned to advance agreements with partners in Asia and Africa. The Head of State considers the current implementation pace insufficient—projects are needed to secure presence in new markets.

On personnel, focus remains on local executive committees. Alexander Lukashenko will continue shifting managerial responsibility to district executive committee chairmen, enhancing their role in regional development.

The action protocol for Shklov and Orsha districts will include soil liming (prioritized at the level of land reclamation) and cooperation issues with Uzbekistan.

Soon, the President will visit the Brest and Gomel regions to review innovative projects, development of farming households, and the performance of a domestic press-baler machine.
