Lukashenko calls CIS a 'Common Destiny Community'

"There is no doubt that the potential of the CIS has not been exhausted. Our alliance is — and will remain for many years to come — a Community of Common Destiny," the Belarusian leader said.

Speaking about the current summit in Turkmenistan, Alexander Lukashenko noted it was symbolic that it was held in Avaza, the pearl of the Caspian Sea.

"For centuries, the Caspian Sea has served as a connecting link between countries and peoples, and today it once again fulfills this role," the Head of State said.
