Lukashenko calls for practical Belarus-China university programs

Joint educational programs between Belarusian and Chinese universities should be practice-oriented and beneficial to the people of both countries, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said at a ceremony in Beijing University marking the graduation of the first cohort of a joint Belarus-China program in biotechnology. "We would like this beginning to develop. In Belarus, we want these programs to be deep and comprehensive, and, we would also like them, to be practice-oriented. Otherwise, what is the point of this education if it is not fully applied in practice and does not benefit both peoples?" said Alexander Lukashenko.
