Lukashenko calls for serious steps in CIS to strengthen unity, especially in economy

"It's good that we meet, it's good that we talk, look each other in the eye, and make statements. It's useful for the domestic audience to know this. But let us take further steps toward closer unity. And unity will be ensured above all by the economy. This means prosperity, this means the strength of our states. Then there will be fewer discussions about independence, preserving borders, and so on. We need to strengthen the economy. In this regard, we must work seriously. We are ready to participate in this in every possible way," the Belarusian leader said.
