Lukashenko congratulates Belarus emergency services with Fire Service Day
President Lukashenko congratulated employees and veterans of emergency response units of the Republic of Belarus on their professional holiday, Fire Service Day.
"The profession of a firefighter-rescuer is chosen by brave and determined people. It is a choice of the heart, because this service requires special dedication, exceptional courage, and involves confronting natural elements and being ready to risk one's life at any moment to save others. It also entails daily hard work and constant exhausting training. As well as a special firefighting brotherhood, forged and strengthened in dangerous, essentially combat conditions of carrying out service tasks, when one stands for all, and all stand for one."
The President expressed special gratitude to veterans who have instilled in the younger generation a deep respect for the glorious traditions of their predecessors, as well as to those currently on the front lines fighting the fire element.
"I thank you for your service. May you always have the love and warmth of your family and close ones, as well as the support and gratitude of the people for whom you take risks every day."
Alexander Lukashenko wished everyone strong health, endless energy, good fortune, resilience, and continued success in serving the Motherland.
