Lukashenko congratulates economic workers on 105th anniversary of Belarus's economic bodies
Lukashenko congratulated employees and veterans of the Ministry of Economy on the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the country's economic bodies and their professional holiday, Economist's Day.
"The first pages of your history are linked to the Gosplan of the BSSR — a unique structure that gradually built up the economic activities of the young Soviet republic, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable socio-economic development of modern Belarus."
The head of state noted that the economic block currently plays one of the key roles in ensuring a high-tech, competitive economy and preserving national security. He emphasized that the transformation of the country's appearance and the improvement of citizens' living standards depend on their professionalism. Lukashenko expressed confidence that they will continue to successfully address large-scale tasks of each five-year period and form sound strategies for the future.
He wished employees and veterans of the Ministry of Economy strong health, inexhaustible energy, and new achievements for the benefit of Belarus.
