Lukashenko congratulates Egyptian President al-Sisi on Revolution Day

Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on the national holiday — Revolution Day.

"This fateful date marked the beginning of an era of national sovereignty, socio-political transformations, and the strengthening of your state's role as one of the leaders of the Arab world."

The head of state emphasized that the alignment of positions between Minsk and Cairo on key issues of the international and regional agenda serves as a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation.

"In the trade and economic sphere, we are ready to increase the volume of trade, implement projects for the assembly of Belarusian equipment in Egypt, including agricultural machinery, and the creation of modern grain and feed storage facilities. There is also potential for partnership development in healthcare, science and technology, and education."

"I will be glad to welcome you in Minsk at any convenient time for a personal discussion of specific measures to further expand Belarus-Egypt cooperation."

The President of Belarus wished the President of Egypt good health and new successes for the benefit of the country and its people.
