Lukashenko congratulated Erdogan on Republic Day.

"The strong foundation of your country's prosperity is Turkish diligence, national unity, and foreign policy independence, which commands great respect," he said.

The head of state noted that Minsk values relations with Ankara, traditionally based on friendship between peoples and both countries' aspiration for global peace and stability. He expressed confidence that Belarusian-Turkish cooperation will continue to strengthen through the implementation of new initiatives in economic, humanitarian, and other areas, for the benefit of both countries and the region as a whole. He is convinced that the continuation of their personal dialogue will contribute to this goal.

Lukashenko wished Recep Tayyip Erdogan excellent health and inexhaustible energy, and the people of Turkey happiness and prosperity.
