Lukashenko congratulated Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili on his 55th birthday.

"Relations between Minsk and Tbilisi are based on sincere friendship and close cultural ties that were successfully formed over decades of the Soviet era, when our peoples lived and worked in good neighborliness, jointly developed the economy, culture, and sports, achieving great results and real victories. I am confident that further expansion of cooperation on the principles of partnership and mutual understanding will certainly contribute to the prosperity of both states."

Alexander Lukashenko wished Mikheil Kavelashvili strong health, wisdom in decision-making, and new achievements for the benefit of Georgia and its citizens.
