Lukashenko congratulates Nicaraguan co-presidents on Sandinista Revolution anniversary

Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Nicaraguan co-presidents Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Rosario Murillo on the 47th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.

"The principles of equality, social justice, and the right to self-determination, which ensure peaceful life for the Nicaraguan people, are close and understandable to Belarus, where the individual and his well-being have always been at the center of state policy," the head of state said.

Lukashenko is confident that the solid foundation of Belarusian-Nicaraguan relations laid in recent years will allow for continued dynamic development of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest. He expressed hope for maintaining the current level of trust, which helps successfully implement all joint plans.

The President of Belarus wished the Nicaraguan co-presidents strong health and success in their responsible work, and the people of Nicaragua — peace and progress.
