Lukashenko congratulates the French people on National Day of the French Republic
Lukashenko congratulated the French people on the National Day of the French Republic.
The head of state noted that Belarus sees the desire of millions of French people for peace and respects ordinary citizens of France who remain faithful to the spiritual roots and principles of justice and equality protected by their ancestors.
'Centuries-old historical ties between our countries cannot be annulled by decisions of Brussels bureaucrats. Deeply rooted values such as the right to one's own identity and independence, commitment to friendship, security, and constructive work on one's land unite our peoples and serve as a reliable foundation for the renewal of Belarusian-French cooperation in all areas,' Lukashenko said.
The President assured that Belarus highly values everyone who comes with an open heart and is interested in maintaining humanitarian and economic contacts. He expressed conviction that, amid global instability and a deep crisis of trust, the ability to listen and respect other cultures, along with rejecting any manifestations of fascism—qualities inherent to both nations—is the only path to peace in Europe and the world.
Alexander Lukashenko wished the French people wisdom, unity, prosperity, and success in fruitful endeavors for the good of their country.
