Lukashenko congratulates Trump on US Independence Day and 250th anniversary

Lukashenko congratulated Trump on US Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.

"It is impossible to watch without admiration the heights the American nation has achieved over a quarter of a millennium. The moon landing, breakthroughs in science and medicine significant for all humanity, serious economic achievements — all these are examples of the determination, diligence, and true patriotism of Americans," he said.

The Belarusian leader noted that it is no coincidence that this important milestone — the 250th anniversary of the US — falls during the presidency of a man who is doing everything for the benefit of the country.

"Between our peoples, there have never been contradictions, and as President of Belarus, I am ready to work together to normalize Belarusian-American relations and support your aspirations to make the planet a safer place for our children and grandchildren."

The head of state wished Donald Trump and every US citizen peace, happiness, and prosperity.
