Lukashenko congratulates Ukraine on 35th Independence Day
Lukashenko congratulated the people of Ukraine on the 35th anniversary of Independence Day.
"The historical destinies of the Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples are closely intertwined. Our nations are bound by centuries-old traditions, shared memories of common victories and difficult trials," he said.
The head of state expressed confidence that despite geopolitical upheavals, future generations of Belarusians and Ukrainians will preserve eternal friendly and kinship ties, and that Minsk and Kyiv will restore mutually beneficial cooperation based on trust, respect, and equality. Hospitable Belarus is always open to every Ukrainian who comes with good intentions.
The President of Belarus wished all citizens of Ukraine health and prosperity, and peace and happiness to their country.
