Lukashenko congratulates Ukrainian people on 35th Independence Day
President Lukashenko congratulated the Ukrainian people on the 35th anniversary of Independence Day. He noted the close ties between the destinies of the Belarusian and Ukrainian peoples, their shared traditions and memories of victories. He expressed confidence that future generations will preserve kinship, and Minsk and Kyiv will restore mutually beneficial cooperation. Belarus remains open to Ukrainians with good intentions. The head of state wished the people of Ukraine health, prosperity, and peace and happiness to the country.
