Lukashenko demands officials fully commit to nature conservation

The issue was raised while discussing the possible merger of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and the State Inspection for the Protection of Animal and Plant Life. "In the challenging field of environmental protection and natural resource management, these bodies are working smoothly and seemingly successfully: they uncover criminal schemes and prevent various violations. For example, poaching in our country has been reduced to a minimum," he emphasized.

At the same time, the President noted that apart from poaching, there are other problem areas in nature conservation. "This is about protecting our nature, and everyone must fully commit here, because this is truly our national treasure," Alexander Lukashenko stated.
