Lukashenko: Domestic press-baler must be high-quality and match imported models

On the field of winter wheat at the Savushkin-Luch agricultural enterprise, where the Head of State arrived, a prototype of a domestically developed combined roll baler was presented.

The President noted that due to the current shortage of such equipment, there are problems with the rapid harvesting of fields for subsequent sowing. This is a bottleneck in agriculture. High-performance balers are needed to quickly remove straw from fields and plow the soil.

According to feedback from officials and farm specialists who used the prototype, the domestic baler matches imported analogues.

"But the product must be of high quality. On par with imported models," the President stated.
