Lukashenko: Hockey team Dinamo-Minsk is an important ideological project

“Let's be honest — this is such an important ideological project in our country. The people's team, as it has been defined. This is the main ideological project. But if this is an important project we can rely on, then it must be developed. That the team has made progress is a fact. No one disputes this. That the team has not achieved what it should have achieved and what was promised — this is also a fact,” the Belarusian leader said at a meeting on the development of hockey.

“We must move forward and select people according to how we will move forward. And we must build a system around this,” emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.

“The question is how to move forward and how not to lose what we already have,” said the Head of State.

“Our goal is clear: we made it to the quarterfinals (of the Kontinental Hockey League), next season we must win the cup,” noted the President.
