Lukashenko holds phone call with Mirziyoyev to discuss implementation of agreements

Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The heads of state coordinated their positions on implementing agreements reached during the recent official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Belarus. Both sides issued instructions to enhance strategic partnership with practical cooperation and mutually beneficial projects. Active work is underway, including investment cooperation in agriculture and other areas. Lukashenko and Mirziyoyev confirmed the need for full implementation of the cooperation Roadmap for 2026–2030, aimed at achieving $2 billion in bilateral trade. They emphasized the importance of strengthening interregional cooperation. Lukashenko also warmly congratulated Mirziyoyev on his birthday.
