Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated at the republican holiday 'Kupalle' that traditions such as rituals, songs, and crafts form the foundation of the Belarusian cultural code and are key to self-understanding. 'Kupalle is one of the most popular holidays. By preserving these traditions, we realize that we are not just people living on the same territory, but a nation. They help us answer important questions: who am I? and which lineage do I come from?' the president said.
