Lukashenko listens to Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin's report

The head of state was briefed on military training activities in the Armed Forces, the situation around the country, and assistance provided by servicemen to agrarians during the harvest campaign.

Regarding personnel training, it is being carried out on a regular basis, taking into account the analysis and conclusions drawn from the results of a comprehensive inspection at the beginning of the year.

Viktor Khrenin reported that the military-political situation remains calm, with tension mostly present in the information sphere. Currently, there is no significant activity observed from NATO member states' armed forces.

The situation is similar on the southern borders — there are no signs of preparations for aggressive actions from neighboring territories. In the border zone on Belarusian territory, a minimal contingent of special operations forces units is deployed, ensuring security in coordination with border guards.

Another topic of the report concerned the harvest campaign. The military traditionally support agrarians. The President received detailed information on the regions where servicemen are carrying out relevant tasks, as well as the number of machines and operators deployed.

Discussions also covered the implementation of President Alexander Lukashenko's instruction given during a teleconference meeting to send undisciplined and negligent workers from the harvest campaign to the army. The Defence Minister presented to the President a proposal to involve regional military commissars in carrying out this task.
