Lukashenko Makes Personnel Decisions in Judicial System

Lukashenko has made personnel decisions in the judicial system. The Head of State signed the corresponding Decree on June 22. A number of heads and judges of regional and district courts have been appointed, some for a new five-year term. Among them is Oleg Lapeko, who will continue serving as Deputy Chairman of the Minsk Regional Court. Fourteen judges have been appointed for the first time. They will begin exercising justice after taking the oath.
