Lukashenko: Minsk aims to deepen cooperation with Nicaragua

Lukashenko congratulated Nicaraguan co-presidents Jose Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Rosario Murillo on Independence Day.

"Under your wise leadership, Nicaragua is steadily strengthening its position as one of the most dynamic exporting states in Central America, creating opportunities for sustainable economic development," Lukashenko said.

The head of state expressed confidence that friendship and solidarity, which form the foundation of long-standing Belarus-Nicaragua relations, will continue to support fruitful cooperation and implementation of beneficial initiatives.

Minsk aims to deepen cooperation with Managua in industry, engineering, agriculture, food, and pharmaceuticals. Lukashenko expressed belief that consistent implementation of agreed-upon initiatives will contribute to the prosperity of both nations.

The President of Belarus wished the co-presidents strong health, vitality, and success, and the entire Nicaraguan people peace and progress.
