They assume that if a war begins with Russia and Belarus, it will be the Germans, French, or Americans who fight, while they remain in the second echelon. That won't happen. Americans are not fools, nor are the Westerners. They like, as you've noticed, to fight with other people's hands and from a distance. But you can't win from a distance.
