Lukashenko proposes creating a blooming garden near Minsk

"Yesterday I offered a farmer several unique fields right near Minsk (which people are asking to build on for housing) for Polissia gardens. I said: come, make it so that Minsk blooms and flourishes like Chisinau (I remember this image from Moldova)," Alexander Lukashenko said about his visit to Mikhail Shrub's farm.

According to the President, the farm's head showed interest in the proposal but asked for time to think. "But I think he'll agree. It's a unique place; many would like to do something there," the Head of State noted.

Lukashenko previously suggested planting a good garden near Minsk in May this year during a meeting with the Council of Ministers. "I know what we need near Minsk. I would plant a garden. A good garden—we know how to do it. And we would fully supply Minsk with apples," he proposed.
